Announcing the NEW ALBUM by Plankton Wat — The Vanishing World !!!
Pre-orders are open now. The first single "Tentacles" is out today!
"Tentacles" just premiered on Raven Sings the Blues, and here's what renowned journalist Andy French had to say: "The cut rises out of the mists, a slow psych creep through the caverns until blistering guitars and the fanfare of horns turn the song into a sinewy battle charge. A surf-fried frenzy of roasted riffs, throbbing bass, and brass bombast, the new single cracks open the chaos to come on the band’s new record, The Vanishing World."
For this album Dewey Mahood assembled an all-star band of some of his favorite Portland musicians — Dustin Dybvig (Brass Clouds, Rose City Band, Horse Feathers, Edibles), James Shaver (Abronia, Deep Earth, Million Brazilians), and Victor Nash (Orquestra Pacifico Tropical, The Decemberists, and Point Juncture, WA). The jaw-dropping depth and versatility of this band is evident in every song from The Vanishing World."
We are stoked beyond words to get The Vanishing World in your hands.
More on the way!
Have a great weekend!
