Please join us in welcoming the brilliant community beacon and virtuosic musical powerhouse Jonny Kosmo to our venerable Sun Cru kin!!!
Jonny Kosmo’s music is Soul on every level…
It is Soul Love, bright warmth, a lifter and a healer...
Jonny pumps immense light and love into his own records as well as into the interwoven musical adventures of his many relations including (and certainly not limited to) GracieHorse, Little Wings, Guerilla Toss, Marina Allen, Miles Wintner, Aaron M Olson, Tim Ramsey, The Lentils, and so many more fine folks in our city of angels and beyond.
A lot of you already know this, but Jonny is a Los Angeles (via New England) songwriter, home recordist, engineer, producer, registered therapist, and driver of the nonprofit counseling center and community events venue Scribble.
Scribble and its many volunteers are open-hearted pioneers of community care and now-and-always mutual aid. So sayeth Jonny, “It’s time for Community, capital C” and “Every show should have some form of mutual aid. It’s (past) time we start thinking about mutual aid not just as a ‘response to,’ but as part of ‘the fabric of.'"
We love that.
